Callum took me on one of his special one- day holidays. After a decadent night of cocktails and the best breakfast i’ve had in a hotel (think vegan porridge, raw overnight muesli, the biggest fruit salad in the world) we hit the countryside in search of Wild Garlic and Samphire. After a 10 mile ramble through forests, winding lanes and across beaches we discovered the elusive Samphire. Sadly it wasn’t in season just yet but we sure know where to go to get some in a few months. We made up for our disappointment with a bag of Garlic and snacks on the beach. The night before i whipped up some Hemp Power Bars which gave us a much needed hit of energy and surprisingly, were texturally reminiscent of Rice Krispy bars. Except these guys were jam packed with hemp, flax, chia seeds, pure cacao and coconut. Definitely something you’d be happy to feed the kids (if we had any!)

(Makes 6 bars, RAW, Vegan, Gluten- free, Nut- free)

  • 25g Flaked Coconut
  • 35g Hemp Seeds

  2. Pop the flax, hemp and coconut in a blender and blitz until quite fine
